4. Mobile Application and Location Data

The YolcuGo Driver mobile application collects the following additional data to ensure safe and efficient delivery of transfer services:

• Real-time location (GPS): To track the driver's location during an active transfer and provide passengers with estimated arrival times
• Background location tracking: Used only during an active transfer assignment, from start to completion. No background location tracking occurs outside of active transfers
• Biometric authentication data (Face ID / fingerprint): Processed on-device for secure login, never sent to our servers
• Push notification tokens: To send notifications for transfer assignments and status updates
• Device information: For monitoring app performance and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

5. Background Location Tracking

The YolcuGo Driver app uses background location tracking only during active transfer assignments. This tracking is performed for the following purposes:

• To show the driver's real-time location to passengers
• To record the transfer route
• To ensure service quality and safety
• Location data is transmitted to our servers in batches after the transfer is completed and is retained for 90 days. It is automatically deleted after this period

6. Data Retention Periods

Your personal data is retained for the duration required by the service and within the scope of legal obligations:

• Location data: 90 days after transfer completion
• Account information: As long as the account is active, and within 30 days of a deletion request
• Transfer and reservation records: 5 years as required by law
• Crash reports and performance data: 180 days

7. Data Security

Your personal data is protected with industry-standard security measures. We use SSL encryption, secure server infrastructure, and access control mechanisms.

8. Cookies

Our platform uses cookies to improve user experience. Cookies are used for session management, language preferences, and analytics purposes.

9. Third-Party Sharing

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except for service delivery purposes. Information required for the fulfillment of transfer services is shared only with relevant suppliers.
