Transfer reservation details

Location data (within the scope of transfer services)

4. Mobile Applications and Location Data

The YolcuGo and YolcuGo Driver mobile applications collect the following additional data to ensure safe and efficient delivery of transfer services:

Location data (YolcuGo app): Your location is used only while the app is in use (When In Use) to show nearby transfer points and to let you track the driver's location on the map during an active trip. The YolcuGo app does not collect location in the background
Real-time location (Driver app): Used to track the driver's location during an active transfer and provide passengers with live location and estimated arrival times (including in the background — see Section 5)
Biometric authentication data (Face ID / fingerprint): Processed on-device for secure login, never sent to our servers
Push notification tokens: To send notifications for transfer assignments and status updates
Device information: For monitoring app performance and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

5. Background Location Tracking (Driver App Only)

Background location tracking is used only in the YolcuGo Driver app and only during an active transfer assignment. The YolcuGo app does not perform background location tracking. In the Driver app, this tracking is performed for the following purposes:

To show the driver's real-time location to passengers
To record the transfer route
To ensure service quality and safety
Location data is transmitted to our servers in batches after the transfer is completed and is retained for 90 days. It is automatically deleted after this period

6. Data Retention Periods

Your personal data is retained for the duration required by the service and within the scope of legal obligations:

Location data: 90 days after transfer completion
Account information: As long as the account is active, and within 30 days of a deletion request
Transfer and reservation records: 5 years as required by law
Invoice information: 5 years as required by tax legislation
Crash reports and performance data: 180 days

7. Data Security

Your personal data is protected with industry-standard security measures. We use SSL encryption, secure server infrastructure, and access control mechanisms.

8. Cookies

Our platform uses cookies to improve user experience. Cookies are used for session management, language preferences, and analytics purposes.

9. Third-Party Sharing

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except for service delivery purposes. Information required for the fulfillment of transfer services is shared only with relevant suppliers. For bookings that include a meet & greet service, the passenger's name, contact phone number, flight number, and meeting-point details are shared with the greeter assigned by the relevant supplier for the purpose of performing the service.

To request correction or deletion of data
To request restriction of processing
Right to request correction of personal data that has been processed incompletely or inaccurately

To request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction operations to third parties to whom data has been transferred
To object to any result arising against you through analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems
To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data
